AltLayer to bring cross-chain interoperability to rollups with Polyhedra partnership

AltLayer’s rollups will be integrated with Polyhedra’s zkBridge functionalities, enabling trustless, efficient, and secure interoperability across various Layer 1 and Layer 2 networks like Ethereum, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, and more. Additionally, AltLayer will join as a node operator for Polyhedra’s Bitcoin dual-staking AVS, securing transactions with EigenLayer’s restaking mechanism.
Integration with zkBridge
Polyhedra Network’s zkBridge represents a significant advancement in the blockchain industry, offering a trustless, efficient, and secure interoperability protocol across different Layer-1 and Layer-2 networks. Central to its security model is the integration of zero-knowledge proofs, which offer robust security that is not dependent on external factors and significantly reduce the complexities and costs associated with on-chain verifications.
With the integration of zkBridge, AltLayer’s rollups can now enjoy seamless interoperability across more than 30 different Layer-1 and Layer-2 networks. The integration allows developers to build more sophisticated and effective on-chain applications.
Joining Polyhedra’s dual-staking AVS for Bitcoin
As part of our partnership, AltLayer is set to join Polyhedra’s dual-staking AVS for Bitcoin zkBridge, enhancing the system’s decentralization and robustness, and the overall security and reliability of the infrastructure. As part of this network, AltLayer will support the trust-minimized interoperability designed for Bitcoin with AVS.
Polyhedra’s innovative utilization of EigenLayer dual staking will strengthen the ecosystem and provide a gateway for a frictionless user experience.
